Lindsey: I have a child with a pre-existing condition. Is it true that as of 2014 he can’t be denied coverage under the new law?

BCBSAL: Yes. In 2014, no one with a pre-existing condition can be denied coverage.

Coverage for your child or anyone with a pre-existing condition will be available during an annual open enrollment period.
